Samuel Jay Levine is the principle attorney of Levine and Associates.
With more than a quarter-century of experience in U.S. immigration and international business law, Professor Levine is a 1969 graduate of the University of Rochester with a Bachelors of Science, and a 1972 graduate with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree of Syracuse University College of Law where he received an academic award. He later pursued advanced international law studies in both the Netherlands and in Israel.
Professor Levine was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1973, and to the United States Supreme Court Bar in 1976. Between 1973 and 1974, he served as the law clerk to the Hon. John Garrett Penn, Jr. (then the Superior Court of the District of Columbia). In 1974 he founded Samuel Jay Levine, P.C. - now a division of Levine and Associates - for which he has practiced immigration and international law to date.
Professor Levine is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Inter-American Bar Association, and the World Jurist Association. Furthermore, he is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Syracuse University, College of Law, and listed by the Martindale-Hubble Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and in the National Directory of Who's Who in Executives and Professionals.
Among his other distinctions, Professor Levine has served as:

subsequent years at Vienna, Austria; Beijing, China; Havana, Cuba; Warsaw, Poland; Amsterdam, the Netherlands and New
Delhi, India.
• Presenter of a paper at Jaegiellonian University (in cooperation with The Catholic University of America, College of Law) in
Cracow, Poland in 1997.
• Seminar conductor on U.S. Immigration Law in eleven other countries.
• An expert witness on U.S. Immigration Law offered before courts in Chile, Brazil, the United Kingdom and the Dominican Republic
Professor Levine has authored and edited articles on immigration law and compliance for several industry magazines. He is the publisher of Immigration Law Update, a newsletter focusing on immigration issues for a number of law firms and employers throughout the country. His television and radio broadcasts on immigration law air in the metropolitan Washington, DC, area on such international language programs as Namaste Asia, Asia Today, Pakistan Vision, the Philippine Broadcast Channel, Vividh Bharti and Radio Mundo.
